Commissioning Test Setup

Reference layouts for reverberation time, noise criteria, and inter-room transmission testing. Room acceptance is based on ISO 3382-2 style RT60 checks, ANSI S12.2 style NC evaluation, and field D'nT,w testing across the critical VO Live to Control Room partition.

Test 1 — RT60 (ISO 3382-2)

5 Mic Positions / Room

Each room uses one source position in an opposite corner and five microphone positions: room center plus one point located 1 m from each wall, all at 1.2 m above finished floor.

HVAC at Design Flow

Measurement Setup

Room center microphone at 1.2 m AFF with HVAC running at design flow. Measure octave-band SPL from 63 Hz to 8 kHz and derive NC curve.

Critical inter-room test across W6. Pink noise source remains in VO Live while the receiving microphone is located in the Control Room.

Reporting Notes

Report source SPL, receiving-room SPL, background correction, reverberation adjustment, and final field D'nT,w value. If the result is below 48 dB, inspect W6 sealing, door perimeter closure, and any untreated flanking paths before retesting.
