Horizontal cut through the W6 partition and observation frame. Three 6 mm panes are separated by two 50 mm air gaps with differing pane positions to avoid parallel reflective paths.

Drawing 3 — Installation Sequence

7-step site sequence

Install the frame first, then stage panes and seals from the larger air-gap side to the smaller air-gap side. Maintain clean seals at every interface.

1Form the W6 opening and verify sill elevation at 100 cm AFF.
2Set the powder-coated steel frame and rebated reveal.
3Shim frame plumb, lock to studs, and apply neoprene isolation strip.
4Install first 6 mm pane with primary spacer.
5Install second pane with 50 mm air gap and staggered depth.
6Install third pane and final compression beads.
7Seal frame-to-wall perimeter and inspect sightline / tilt before handover [AC].
